A Track Record of Service
The Ratanak Foundation is a federally incorporated Canadian charity dedicated to the assistance of the Cambodian people (We are presently seeking to move towards charitable status in the UK).
The following projects were funded by the Ratanak Foundation and implemented through international and local NGO's (Non-Government Organizations) under existing Memorandums of Understanding with the applicable Cambodian Government Ministries.
1991
- Shipment and presentation of $100,000 of medical supplies to Dr. Hong Theme, Vice Minister, Ministry of Health, Phnom Penh.
1992

- Building Sangkar District Hospital, Battambang.

- Funding a job skills academy for underprivileged youth.
- Funding community-based teenage drug prevention program, Phnom Penh.
- NewSong Rehabilitation Project for children rescued from brothels.
2007
- Building a library/learning centre near Siem Riep.
- Providing a truck for an orphanage to transport kids and supplies.
- Funding a school for disabled children in Phnom Penh.
- Funding a transition centre providing job training for girls to leave brothels.

- Funding a safe haven/drop-in centre for elderly homeless.
